This website is dedicated to my beloved animals...
Whom I treasure, and cherish.

My name is Ellen Rose, and I live together with my animal family in Drenthe, a northern province in the Netherlands.
Being born in beautiful Yorkshire, in the United kingdom, my love for nature and animals began at an early age...
I spent most of my youth at Carnelly`s wonderful  riding stables in Hellaby, Rotherham, South Yorkshire....
Here my love for horses, and ponies was inevitable.
I was lucky enough to own two ponies of my own..
Skip & Shandy...with whom I had lots of fun. Entering many shows and winning many prizes..
it was a memorable time. Along with that I trained and rode all the horses & ponies for the Carnelly family.
 
In the early 1980`s I moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Where I resided for 26 years. 
It was here I met my beautiful friend Gideon, a gorgeous Hackney gelding. 
Offspring the famous english hackney stallion "Cambridge Cole" x Nicolientje. 

Thus began my love for carriage driving...together with Gideon who excelled in Marathon, and dressage. Winning many events, and sharing many happy memories together.. 

It was also in Amsterdam that Muis & Snoep came into my life.
My two sweet cats...Mother & daughter...
I fell immediately in love with them as soon as I met them at the Animal shelter, Osdorp, Amsterdam.
 

Shortly afterwards Lucky (Collie x Golden retreiver) came into our life.. And we were surely blessed. 
Lucky is our one in a million sweetheart...
Our Salty dog from Amsterdam... 

Then came Zinzi (Rhodesian Ridgeback)...My soulmate.. 
My beautiful, treasured girl, who sadly left us in 2010.  
Missed deeply everyday. and to be continued.... 

 
Around 2005 we made our move to the beautiful province of Drenthe.
 
Here came Missy (Cat) A stray who finally made her home with us. 
Missy had 5 beautiful kittens...
Chloe -rose  is the pretty daughter I kept... 

It was in 2010 that Razi (Rhodesian Ridgeback) came into our life.
Lovely, funny Razi..who is a joy to be around...And a big part of our family. 

In 2013 our precious Makena (Rhodesian Ridgeback) came into our life.
Makena has the sweetest character I know.. With a beautiful disposition.
She wags her tail the whole day through..Always happy...
Together with these qualities she has the added bonus of being a very pretty girl, with nice conformation, and lovely proportions.
Although Makena is not loving the show scene she has attained some very nice qualifications.
Including BOS at the age of 14 months. 

In completion she also has excellent health certificates.

I am therefore looking very forward to breeding with Makena in the not too distant future.
